  31. I wanted to jump in here and say something that may not be obvious.

  34. The higher quality the video (ie, BetaSP over S-VHS) the better the
  35. compression works.  Less noise means smaller files at same quality level means
  36. you can have higher quality levels on the same drive.
  37.  
  38. To test this, check file sizes of the same video captured from BetaSP, S-VHS,
  39. and VHS... even from BetaSP on S-VHS and Composite...
  40.  
  41. The Better the video quality, the slower the drive you can use... or the
  42. higher quality setting on a better drive.
